David was a native of Columbus, Georgia. He graduated from Jordan High School in 1967. He moved to Hampton, Virginia to work at the Newport News Shipyards. He then moved back to Columbus to work at a sprinkler contractor company and then he started his own sprinkler company.
David loved photography, travelling, motorcycles, cars, electronics, going to the beach, coffee on his back porch, barbeque, his pets, Golden Donuts, tinkering around the house and his faith. David had a quirky, fun sense of humor and he loved Ground Hog Day and how perfect that he chose to pass on this day.
David is survived by: his loving wife Sheila; his two children Jennifer (Deric) Governale, Brandon (Dani) Judah; his siblings, Joy (Ronnie) Medlock, Danny ( Sally) Judah, Susan ( Ray) Gonzalez, Patty ( Mike) Woods; grandchildren, great grandchildren and lots of nieces and nephews.
David will be missed by many.
A memorial service for David will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 6:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907.
