David Joe Wyatt, age 68, of Columbus, passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018. Visitations will be held on Monday, August 20, 2018, from 5:00 until 7:00 pm and Tuesday from 1:00 until 1:55 pm at Striffler- Hamby Mortuary, Columbus. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at 2:00 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus. Interment will be in the Parkhill Cemetery following services.
David was born on March 11, 1950 in Columbus, Georgia; he is the son of Shelby Joe Wyatt and Luller Mae Renfroe Wyatt. He graduated from Jordan High School and attended Columbus Technical College. David retired as a machinist, working most recently for Wheelabrator. David enjoyed being in the great outdoors, especially the time spent hunting and fishing with family or friends.
David is preceded in death by: his Father Shelby Joe Wyatt.
Survivors include: his Mother Luller Mae Renfroe Wyatt; two daughters, Amy W. Dial, Danielle Mayo; two sons, Joshua Wyatt, Matthew Strickland; a niece Jessica Mitchell and 10 grandchildren.
