Davis McGuire “Mack” Ragan, 49, of Shiloh, Georgia, died on October 16, 2022. He was born in Columbus, Georgia on March 9, 1973 to Pauline “Polly” Mae Long Ragan and Joel David Ragan. Mack was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed music, his many animals, nature, running and bicycling, nutrition and fitness. He also enjoyed “hunting for Big Foot” with his nieces and nephews. Mack was a sincere, compassionate, generous, and helpful man who loved God and his family, dearly. He volunteered at Orphanage Emmanuel in Guaimaca, Honduras with Cornerstone Baptist Church (Ellerslie, Georgia) and most recently attended church at County Line Church in Warm Springs, Georgia. Mack worked in the IT Department of Columbus State University for over twenty years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mack is survived by his father, David (Patricia) Ragan; sister, Jennifer (Sandy) Reynolds; nieces, Carson and Kristin Reynolds; nephews, Cole and Cameron Reynolds. Mack was preceded in death by his mom, Polly, and his sister, Susan Laura Ragan.
A service for Mack will be held at 4PM on November 13, 2022, at County Line Church, 2552 County Line Church Road, Warm Springs, Georgia 31830. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Humane Society of Harris County | 3938 Barnes Mill Rd., Hamilton, GA 31811, or your favorite charity, in his honor.
