Dennis Ray Kilgore, 73, of Columbus, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM EST at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery,
Dennis was born on February 20, 1952, in West Virginia to Gertrude and Hobert Kilgore. He spent 12 years serving his country in the United States Army as a Staff Sergeant. During his free time, he enjoyed bowling, hunting and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Kilgore; his parents, Hobert and Gertrude Kilgore; and his siblings, Gene Early, Betty Carbine and Hobert Kilgore Jr. He is survived by his children, Jeri Green (Aaron), Brad Kilgore (Laura), Dennis Kilgore Jr. (Morgan) and Kenneth Kilgore; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; his brother, Earnest Kilgore and his sister, Peggy Kerley.
