Diane Cawthon

Diane Moore Cawthon, 65, of Wetumpka, AL passed away unexpectedly on June 1, 2022 following a brief illness. She was born in Montgomery, AL on May 26, 1957 to the late Oscar Moore and Ada Kathrine (Moody) Moore.

Diane was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She loved her family and they will miss her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Donna Kay Moore, Wyline Lindsey and brother-in-law, Ralph Lindsey and Mildred Moore Bush and brother-in-law, Herbert Bush; brothers, Buddy Moore and sister-in-law, Sarah Moore; Bobby Moore, Lucky Moore; and her beloved granddaughter, Ryleigh.

She is survived by her daughter, Michele Veal (Jr Davis); sons, Michael McGough (Brandy), John Dasher Jr (Jennifer), and Roger Dasher (Evelyn); grandchildren, Stephanie Baker, Tommy Baker, Preston Dasher, Katlyn Dasher, Camron Dasher, Gracie Dasher, Victoria (Tori) McGough, Bella Veal, Whitt’Lee Dasher, and Tobias (Toby) Dasher; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Riley, Malena Riley, Jr Riley, and Raelynn Burke; sister, Joanne Speigner (Kenny); brothers, Ronnie Moore and Billy Joe Moore; sister-in-law, Patty Moore; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members too numerous to list.

A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be announced.
