Donald “Doug” Groscost, 91, of Waverly Hall, Georgia went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 2, 2024. He was born on July 9, 1932 in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. He then became a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Hamilton, Georgia.
He is survived by his wife; Doris Groscost, and children; Danny Moore, John Moore, Gary Groscost, and Sandy Groscost, step son, Robert Sizemore, along with 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and numerous great great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907. Family will meet with friends on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Striffler Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907.
