Graveside Funeral service will be in Parkhill Cemetery on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 3:00 in the afternoon. Family will receive friends at Striffler-Hamby before the service from 1:30 until 2:30 in the afternoon.
She was born in Ellerslie, Georgia on August 25, 1935 to the late Eddie Francis Tucker and Arthur William Tucker. She was married the late Andrew E. Nolan, Sr. on May 7, 1952. Doris was a homemaker; she raised three sons she is survived by, Andrew E. Nolan, Jr., Donald R. Nolan, and Phillip L. Nolan. Doris E. Noland is also survived by her sister, Inez Profett; brothers, Jack Tucker and Joel Tucker; grandchildren, Karma “Mickie”, Michael, and Kayla; numerous great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Doris E. Tucker Nolan will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
