Edna was born on July 26, 1938 to Joe Williams and Vashti Daniels in Blakely, Georgia. Edna spent over 60 years living and working in Columbus, Georgia. After 25 years of work at Fieldcrest Cannon Mill, she retired and spent the last 9 years living in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
As a faithful Christian, Edna was a member of the Broad Street Church of Christ. She attended church regularly, enjoyed traveling with her senior group, and was a member of the senior center in Phenix City. Edna loved God and loved her family with all her heart, they were incredibly important to her.
Edna is survived by her daughter Diane Linpinsel (Curtis), granddaughters Stefanie Wheatly, Tammy Adams, Kerry Pevey, and Tina Nail, grandsons Israel, Michael, and Jonathan Caldwell, Torin and Zach Regan, and James and Ronald Bailey. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe Williams and Vashti Daniels, her sister Eulalia Goodwin, and sons Linwood Joe Regan, James Ronald 'Ronnie' Regan, and Terry Wayne Regan.
A Visitation for family and friends for Edna will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, St. Elmo Room, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907. A Funeral Service will occur Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 1:00 PM, at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, St. Elmo Room, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907. A Burial following funeral service will occur Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907.
Pallbearers include Israel Caldwell, Michael Caldwell, Jonathan Caldwell, Keith Adams, Cory Adams, Kolby Oliver, and Zach Regan.
