Eva B. Traylor, 86, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Vista Care Hospice in Columbus, GA. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2010 in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907 with burial to follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Traylor was born October 9, 1923 in Troy, AL daughter of the late William Barbaree and Annie Hulen Barbaree. She was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She was the widow of Willie Edward Traylor. Survivors include her daughter, Annie Sears of Columbus; her son, Edwin (Debbie) Traylor of Stafford, VA; sister, Elizabeth Marsh of Dothan, AL; her brothers, Donel (Jo) Barbaree of Jacksonville, FL and Roy (Kaye) Barbaree of Dothan, AL; four grandchildren, Paul Sears , Ed (Estrella) Traylor, Sherry (Richie) Dugal and Angie Emery; two step grandchildren, Danny (Brenda) Lewis, Chris (Megan) Lewis; nine great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
