Evelyn Francis Goodwin

Funeral Services for Mrs. Evelyn will be on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Columbus, Georgia. Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until time of the service.

Evelyn Francis Goodwin was born to the late John Thomas Miller and Mattie Mae Elliott Miller. She was preceded in death by two children, Jacqueline Dianne Dickerson and Grady Morris Goodwin, Jr. Mrs. Evelyn was married to her loving husband of 66 years, Grady Morris Goodwin, Sr., she was a longtime member of Ebenezer Baptist Church of Hamilton, GA.

She is survived by her loving husband, Grady Morris Goodwin, Sr.; her daughter, Connie Hubbard and her husband Fred of Buena Vista, GA; and grandchildren, Julie Chrissie Allen and her husband Richard of Wetumpka, AL, Gina Cofield and her husband Geoff of Mauk, GA, Trey Goodwin of Panama City, FL, stepgranddaughter Wendy Ferguson and her husband Bryan of Jefferson, GA; eight great-grandchildren and “adopted” daughter Kathy Tyson. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
