Funeral services for Mrs. Bain will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2010 at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley T. Bain and her parents, John Henry Williams and Merrie Lee Castellow Williams.
Mrs. Bain was a charter member of Edgewood Baptist Church since 1949 also a member of the Woman's Club and the Officers Club in Ft. Benning. Eylau W. Bain is survived by her son, Wesley T. Bain, Jr. and his wife, Sandra Bain; one grandson, Wesley T. Bain, III; one great-granddaughter, Taylor Bain; and many nieces and nephews.
