Foy Edward Love

Columbus, GA- Foy Edward Love, 74 of Columbus, GA passed away at Columbus Hospice House on July 6, 2014. Foy was born April 3, 1940 in Houston County, AL to the late William Franklin and B.Y. Sewell Love. He was a faithful employee of West Point Pepperell for 34 years before joining Delta Life Insurance Company where he retired as Staff Manager. Mr. Love was a member of Highland Baptist Church and loved to fish.

The family will welcome visitors Tuesday, July 8, 2014, 6-8 PM in the St Elmo Room of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA. A Celebration of Life Service will be Wednesday July 9, 2014, 3:00 PM in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, followed by a Committal Service at Parkhill Cemetery with Rev. Danny Courtney officiating.

Along with his parents, Mr. Love is preceded in death by a brother; James Love, and a sister, Carol Love. He is survived by his adoring wife of 56 years Judy Love, two sons; Edward Earl Love and Danny Franklin Love, both of Columbus, GA, a daughter; Cherie Kellie Hodge (Jason),of Columbus, GA, three grandchildren; Eric Love, Caroline Hodge, and Cierra Hodge, one great grandchild; Carter Love, two sisters Janice Nelson and Sue Hall, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
