A service to celebrate Gail’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 4, 2017 in the Edgewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA, 31907. Interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery.
Gail was born October 30, 1955 in Hamilton, TX, daughter of Ernestine Clements and the late John Virgil Clements.
Gail worked as a secretary for AAW Dump Trucks, LTD and retired from Clements Porting Service. She also volunteered countless hours with little league and other youth sports. When not working or volunteering, Gail loved spending time out in the country listening to the birds and watching the deer. But, more than anything she loved being with her family and friends sharing special times together. We will miss her witty smile and many sweet memories that will live forever in our hearts.
In addition to her father, Gail was preceded in death by a brother, Allan Boyd Clements and her mother-in-law, Doris Greer.
Survivors include her loving husband of 42 years, Al Greer; her two daughters, Dianna Roberts and her husband, Andy and Jennifer King and her husband, Mike; her grandchildren, Andrew Roberts, Jonathan King, Andrew King and Lauren King; her mother, Ernestine Clements; her two brothers, Dennis Clements and his wife, Susan and Hugh Clements and his wife, Barbara; her sister-in-law, Mary Kavanaugh and her husband, Dave; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Gentiva Hospice for their great care of Gail, and their love and compassion during this time.
Flowers will be accepted or you may make a donation in Gail’s memory to Gentiva Hospice, 100 Brookstone Centre Parkway, Columbus, GA 31904
