Visitation will be from 6-8pm, Thursday, February 8, 2018 in the St. Elmo Room of Striffler-Hamby 4071 Macon Columbus, GA.
Graveside services will be 3:00pm, Friday, February 9, 2018 at Evergreen Memorial Park.
Mr. Eide was born March 20, 1948 to the late Curtis O. Eide and Dorothy McIntyre Eide, in addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Mr. Eide proudly served his country in the United States Army, he was a veteran of the Viet Nam War he received VN Service Ribbon (Viet Nam), three Purple Hearts, two Bronze Stars, a Silver Star and the Distinguished Service Medal, among numerous others.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years Connie R. Eide; sons, Frankie E. Eide and his wife Cindy; Larry Dean Eide and his wife Amy; one grandson, Neal Henry; brothers, Orvie D. (Becky) Eide, Doug Eide, and Dennis Eide; sister, Linda (Dick)Wagner; brother-in-law, Larry F. (Cathy) Rennie; and several nieces and nephews.
