Gordon Lee Holladay Jr., 70, of Columbus, GA passed Friday, December 7, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Parkhill Cemetery with Rev. Norman Drummond officiating.
Mr. Gordon was born March 14, 1948 in Greenville, AL, the son of Gordon and Lyndel Holladay. Lee, as everyone knew him, went to Optician School and worked for Lee Optical. Some things he enjoyed were fishing, playing card games, and collecting knives. He was very passionate about Elvis everything. Mr. Gordon liked to be in touch with what was happening in the community so you could see him at any time listening to the police scanner he had in his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors are his four siblings, Mark Holladay (Deborah), Ronald Holladay, Stephen Holladay, and Lynda Holladay. He also leaves behind numerous other loving family members and friends.
