Jack M. Daniel

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2011 in Parkhill Cemetery according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, GA. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Daniel was born in Columbus, GA. on August 25, 1945 to the late Lloyd Ellis Daniel and Cleo Lunsford Daniel. Jack worked at Fieldcrest/Pillowtex Mills for over 25 years along with many part-time jobs. He was a hard working man that would help anyone in need and loved unconditionally. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Justin Harp, one sister and two brothers.

Survivors include his loving wife of almost 42 years, Janie H. Daniel, five loving children Gary F. Mills, Janie Ann Gray (Bobby), Jack Daniel, Jr. (Melissa Kolster), Tracy Daniel (Jenny Grimes), and Jessica Lennon (Chris) eight adoring grandchildren, Gary Mills, II, Tracey Corbitt, Kasey Corbitt, Brandon Harp, Kaley Mills, Allen Corbitt, Jack Daniel, Jr, Jr, Zakk Daniel, Riley Lennon and Kyle Lennon, three brothers, and many nieces and nephews, cousins and other extended family members.
