Jack Ronald Hunt

Ron was born to Fern Pyle Hunt and Guy William Hunt and raised in Boone, NC. He attended Davidson College and The University of North Carolina School of Medicine where he received his Medical Degree. He has worked the last forty years in the Columbus, GA medical community, most recently as the Medical Director of Columbus Medical Aesthetics and Medical Director for Anthem.

Ron is survived by his wife, Angie Hunt, and brother, Richard Hunt, as well as his daughters, Abbey Hunt Lindsey and Molly Hunt Moore, stepdaughter Lisa Vandel Blair, stepsons Geoff Van and Ryan Vandel, and grandchildren Jake and Avery Lindsey, Townes, Bess, Guy, and Sam Moore, Katharine, Jameson, and Matthew Blair, Zoey, Makenzie, and Colbi Van, Elijah and Magnolia Vandel. Ron is preceded in death by his brother, Guy Hunt and parents.

Ron’s life will be honored privately by immediate family on Thursday, October 7. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ron’s name to the Harris Co. Humane Society or Animal Ark Rescue.
