James Waldo Symonds

James Waldo Symonds was born to Maurice and Shirley Symonds in Hornell, NY on August 30, 1959. James graduated from Addison central High School in 1977 and joined the United States Army.

James worked for many years at Propst Construction Co. in Concord, NC. His work family shared fond memories of him and were very supportive to the family during the time immediately preceding and following his passing.

James loved working on cars and loved NASCAR. He also loved his family and friends and would give anything to help someone in need. He always said that you never learn anything without making mistakes along the way.

He was survived by…His Mother, Shirley Symonds; His children, Jennifer (Michael) Wemmer, Christopher (Jessica) Symonds and, Rose (Michael) O’Day; His siblings, Mark Symonds, David Symonds, Donald Symonds, Kenneth Symonds, Karen Tillinghast, Karla (Roger) Waters, Sabrina (Alan) Matthews; many grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews and long-time house-mate Aaron Pressley.

He was preceded in death by…His father, Maurice Symonds. His nephew, Tony Tillinghast. And his girlfriend Debbie Goff.
