Janice "Jan" Gayle Oldridge

A graveside service for Jan will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 26, 2025 in Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907 with Reverend Hank Reeves officiating.

Jan was born September 10, 1944 in Orange, TX to the late James Alvin Cox and Dorothy Ferrell Cox. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy D. Oldridge, Jr. and a nephew, James Kevin Fulton. Jan was a lively person with an infectious smile who could make anyone laugh. During her career she worked as a Writer/Editor for General Colin Powell.

Jan is survived by her sister, Linda Fulton (James) of Sante Fe, TX, a brother, James R. Cox (Ruby) of California, her son, Billy D. Oldridge, III of Virginia two grandchildren Katelyn Haskins (Austin) and Ryan Oldridge, three nieces, Terri Presley, Rhonda Huestis and Stacey Fulton.
