

Born and raised in Columbus, Georgia, Jayden graduated with the 2020 class of Columbus High School before setting his sights on University of Georgia in Atlanta. Through hard work and dedication, Jayden obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) and Psychology as a part of the 2025 graduating class. After graduating, Jayden became an associate consultant with Coastal Cloud and loved his job.
Jayden was admired not only for his accomplishments, but for the genuine goodness and warmth he carried within him. He was a kind, generous, and intelligent young man whose heart was always open to others. He had a natural compassion for people; he never hesitated to help those in need—it wasn't uncommon for him to give food or money to anyone experiencing homeless. He truly the type of person to give someone the shirt off of his back.
In his free time, he loved spending time with friends and creating memories filled with laughter, loyalty, and love. Jayden loved adventure and traveling to see new places. He was a competitive spirit, often playing mahjong and poker, which allowed his sense of humor to soften the loss of anyone competing against him. He was also passionate about fitness and working out; Jayden strived to better himself not only physically, but mentally as well.
Family meant everything to Jayden and he deeply cherished the time he got to spend with his loved ones. He is survived by his loving mother, AnnJillian Lybarger, loving father, Hector Barreto-Roman (Devin); siblings, Aryn Youngblood and Julian Barreto; step-brother, Ethan Fisher; grandparents, Brent & Rosie Parker and Aaron & Lea Lybarger; aunts, Ashley Garza (Noel) and Trisha Mendiburu (Tomas); uncles, Giovanni, Nestor, and Wally Barreto; as well as cousins, Ivan Galapon, Isaac Galapon, Joelle Garza, and Ava Garza.
Jayden's legacy is one of compassion, generosity, intelligence, and love—a truly special and beautiful soul who touched countless lives in his 24 years. He will be truly and deeply missed.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, in Fisher Chapel, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907, on May 20, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A celebration honoring Jayden's life will follow the visitation and begin at 1:00 PM.
The family has requested, if possible, that those in attendance wear UGA colors or UGA attire to honor Jayden's love for his alumnus.
