Jo Ann Yeaman Holland, 80, of Cataula, Georgia, died on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital. A Graveside Service is scheduled on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 2:00pm in Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road Columbus, with Reverend David Helms officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00pm prior to the service beginning at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road Columbus.
Mrs. Holland, daughter of the late Thomas Rufus Yeaman and Hannah Pittman Yeaman, was born October 14, 1937 in Phenix City, Alabama. She was a Secretary in the Engineering Department for the City of Columbus and a member of Bethesda Baptist Church. Mrs. Holland resided in Cataula, Georgia with her husband of 62 years, Robert Dean Holland Sr.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Alice Faye Spivey; and daughter-in-law, Lydia Holland.
Mrs. Holland is survived by her husband, Robert; sons, Rober Dean Holland Jr., Gregory T. Holland; grandchildren, Shannon Ashley Dunn (Eric), David Dean Holland; great-granddaughters, Emerson and Adeline Dunn; nieces, Lisa Spivey, Kathyjo Gordon and her family; and brother-in-law, Frank Spivey.
