Joel Michael Koepsell

Joel Michael Koepsell, 65, of Columbus, Georgia, passed away at his residence on Sunday, July 3, 2022. Funeral service will be held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 11:30 AM. Visitation and Rosary will be on Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 6:00PM until 8:00 PM.

Mike was born on November 04, 1956, in Aurora, IL to the late Harvey Koepsell and Mary Anne Koepsell. His favorite hobby was watching his grandson and nephew race. Mike was the fixer of all things, if something needed to be fixed he was the person to do it. He was known as Uncle Mike, and Papa Mike to everyone he met.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Koepsell and Mary Anne Koepsell.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Faye Koepsell; sons, Kenny Bulman (Dale); Bryan Koepsell (Brittany) and Anthony Chapman; daughters, Heather Barber (Bubba), Seanna Koepsell (Joey Jones); 14 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Carolyn Ratliff (Terry), Mary Ellen Vaden (Carr); Jeanne Koepsell; step brother, Bruce Newsom; step sister, Gwyn and Debra Newsom; bonus mom, Ma Marie.
