Johnnie (Keith) Gollihugh, age 56, of Newnan, Georgia passed away on Friday March 6, 2020. A visitation for family and friends for Keith will be held Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Wildwood Room at Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907. A Celebration of Keith’s life will occur Monday, March 9, 2020 at 2:00 PM, in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907. A burial will follow Monday, March 9, 2020 at 3:00 PM.
Keith was born October 8, 1963 in Fort Polk, Louisiana to Roberta Ann Ledbetter and Johnnie Clyde Gollihugh. He was a family man that truly loved his wife and lived life to it’s fullest. Keith loved to hunt, fish, collect cars and tools, and just enjoy the outdoors. He retired from the state of Georgia as Compliance Supervisor. Keith will forever be remembered for his great sense of humor and his favorite saying, “He who dies with the most toys wins.”
Keith was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Clyde Gollihugh; mother, Roberta Ann Ledbetter; sisters, Janet Gollihugh, Becky McLendon, and Debbie Gage; brother, Bryan Gollihugh; maternal grandmother, Ruby Ledbetter; maternal grandfather, Raymond Ledbetter; paternal grandmother, Marie Gollihugh; and paternal grandfather, John Gollihugh. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Gollihugh; son, Brandon Gollihugh; sister, Rhonda Gollihugh; nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.
