Jonathan was born June 12, 1992 in Columbus, Georgia. He passed away on June 20, 2020. Jonathan was a beautiful young man, but was always a kid at heart. He always had a sparkle in his eyes and a smile on his face. He loved life and lived his life to the fullest on his terms. Always a comedian, he could make anyone laugh. He would light up a room just by entering. He did not have a bashful bone in his body.
Jonathan had serious medical problems all his life. Nevertheless, even as he would struggle through all of that, he would still make others around him comfortable and at ease. Jonathan has two beautiful baby girls, Ava and Scarlet. They were the loves of his life. He had been so excited and looking forward to Fathers’ day. He loved music. He would say “it’s gotta be rock & roll baby”. Jonathan is now with his Lord, and I’m sure he’s cracking them up in Heaven. He’s probably hanging out with his Grandpa in heaven collecting firewood for that heavenly campfire.
Jonathan is survived by: Parents, Jeff and Bonnie Ashmore; Fiancé, Tiffany Casler; Daughters, Ava and Scarlet Ashmore; Brothers, Kyle Ashmore, Matt Ashmore, Tim Ashmore; Grandparents, Carl and Janet Burkhalter, and Jimmy and Carol Ashmore. Other family members and many friends to cherish his memory.
