I tried to send a memory a couple of days ago and I have yet to see it so here goes again.

Joe was the best boss I ever had in my 65 years of working. He taught me so much about the cotton business that carried me to retirement. Joe was the type of person that made it easy to do the right thing the first time because he was there for you if you needed help. A more honest man I have never met. He was sincere and direct and he would bring the best out of anyone. It is truly a sad time. We would chat in church before the service and he always wanted an update on what was going on. I would bring him up to date and he would smile. I would also like to say he was one of the most respected men I ever knew. He will always be in my mind!

Some of my fondest memories of my daddy are my basketball games and that he made every single one, even when he was traveling for work! He was so very supportive in everything I did!

Love and miss you daddy. ❤️
