Josephine Ann Lambert, 80, of Phenix City, Alabama, passed away on January 3, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 18, 1944, in St. Petersburg, Florida, to Jessie Pearl Howell Spear and Charles Pershing Spear. She was married to the late Johnny Louis Lambert who was an Army officer. Together with his service to our country they moved around the United States before settling in the Columbus and Phenix City area. Josephine was an entrepreneur and held many titles in her career. But, the one closest to her heart was We Care Nannies and Companions, LLC. Josephine was passionate about caring for others. She loved her family and her family loved her, Josephine will be greatly missed.
Josephine is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Johnny Louis Lambert; son, Michael Jeffery Brooks; sister; Barbara Muck; and brother, Charles “Perry” Pershing Spear II.
She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Diane Robledo (Lupe), two grandchildren: Randy Magee (Kody) and Sheena Bartlett (Will); seven great-grandchildren; and her brother William Wesley Spear (Elaine).
