

Joyce Annette Wilson, age 72, resident of Fort Mitchell, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Columbus Hospice House. Funeral services are scheduled at the Mill Room of Striffler-Hamby, Columbus on Friday, February 27, 2015, 2 p.m. with Reverend Ralph Henderson officiating. Private interment will follow the service at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 5-7 p.m.
Mrs. Wilson, daughter of the late Cliff Odell Bryan and Thelma Louise Phillips Bryan, was born September 24, 1942 in Eufaula, Alabama. She was a homemaker and member of Oswichee Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Wilson of Fort Mitchell, Alabama; one daughter, Sherry Montelone of Columbus; one son, David Copeland of Atmore, Alabama; one sister, Cindy Hancock and her husband Charles of Columbus; three aunts, Melba Hammond of Eufaula, Alabama, Emmie Ruth Beasley of Lewisville, Alabama, and Kate Williams of Eufaula, Alabama; two step-children, Melissa Wilson of Yakima, Washington and Bill Wilson, Jr. of Tacoma, Washington; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
