Kenneth Carver age 80 of Columbus, GA, Passed away at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA, Wednesday October 19, 2022. The family will welcome guest Monday, October 24, 2022, in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4171 Macon Rd from 2:00 pm until the beginning of the 3:00 Service, with Reverend Jerry Spear officiating. Committal and Interment at Parkhill Cemetery will follow the service.
Kenneth was born in Columbus, GA to G.C. Carver and Lola Pearl Daniel Carver. He graduated from Jordan Vocational High School and attended Columbus Tech, where he learned to be a skilled appliance repair expert for Sears Roebuck and Company.
Kenneth tried to retire but was call back to work many times. He loved to fish, hunt, and watch sports on TV. His favorite team was the Georgia Bull Dawgs. He was a Big Fan.
Kenneth loved his family, and playing with the grandchildren and Kipper his K9. He attended Trinity United Methodist Church where he and his Wife of 57 years were married.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Diane; Daughter Stacy (Mark) Glover; his son; Kevin Caver; sister, Diane (James) Taylor; and nephew Jeffery Taylor; grandchildren, Amanda Burnham, Kyle Christmas, and Flint Hutcherson; great grandchildren, Kolbee and Korbin Christmas and Khole and Harper Burnham. Many friends and other family members.
