SFC (Ret) Lee Edward Howard

Family will visit with friends on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM. Funeral services will follow in Parkhill Cemetery at Chapel of Pines Mausoleum at 3:00 PM with Military Honors.

Lee Edward Howard was born on February 10, 1927 in South Pittsburg, TN to the late Annie Graham Howard and James Howard. He was married to the late Edna Allen Howard. Mr. Howard faithfully served his country during WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. He retired after 1966 with 20 years of service. Mr. Howard continued to work at Fort Benning in the Civil Service serving officers to assure their housing. He was a member of St. Peter United Methodist Church, an avid golfer and he was also an avid gardener- maintaining his yard to perfection. Mr. Howard will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his children: Terry Lee Howard (Sandi), Ricky Howard (Pam), Cheryl Williams, and Donna Mailhot (Gary); grandchildren: Stephanie Bechtel (Todd), Ashley McClure, Carie Clark, Lee Howard (Katie), Kent Howard (Lauren), Zachary Mailhot (Hope), Crystal Palmer (Ryan), Ryan Mailhot (Jessica), Neal Howard (Vanna), Adam Howard (Nicole), Madison Mailhot (Melanie), Malory Saunders; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
