Vera Lois Bristow, 90, of Columbus, Georgia passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018. Vera was born the daughter of Morgan Taylor Graddy and Ethel Florence Windham Graddy on July 3, 1928 in Coffee Co., Alabama.
Lois married the late Edgar Franklin “Frank” Bristow Jr. and they had one daughter, Rebecca Ann Bristow Voyles. She was a homemaker. She was a former member of First
Baptist Church and later became a baptized member of Phenix City Church of Christ. In her spare time she enjoyed arranging flowers and watching soap operas.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Franklin “Frank” Bristow Jr. and many
brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Ann “Becky” Bristow Voyles and son in law, Don Voyles of Phenix City, AL; grandson, Everett Franklin “Rhett”
Voyles; sister, Nell Lehr; sister-in-law, Betty Mathis and several nieces and nephews.
A Visitation of Family and Friends will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 10:00am - 11:00am in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary in Columbus, GA.
Funeral Services officiated by Brother Jeff McCrary will begin at 11am and Burial will follow at Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus, GA.
