Lois J. Gentry

She was the daughter of the late Josephine Hearn Holloway and Ellis Holloway. Preceding her in death were her sons, Steve Deaton and Randall Deaton, and her brother, Ellis Holloway, Jr.

Lois is survived by her daughters, Susan Garver (Eric Garver), Teresa Robinson, Angela Spears (Doug Spears), and Tina Gentry (Morris House). She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on January 21, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Fisher Chapel, located at 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia, 31907. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the same location.

Lois J. Gentry will be laid to rest at Parkhill Cemetery, located at 4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia.
