Lori Sauvie Medley, age 58, of Columbus, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Striffler Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to the service.
Lori was born on January 30, 1967, to Robbie and Robert Sauvie in Columbus, Georgia. Lori lived her life with a warm heart and a creative spirit. She loved crocheting, crafting, and relaxing with her favorite soap operas playing in the background. She was a devoted follower of Christ and found great joy in worship and praising the Lord. Of all the things she loved, nothing meant more to her than spending time with her family and her grandpuppy, Hank.
Lori was preceded in death by her father, Robert Sauvie.
She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her husband, Chris Medley; her children, Brooke Ward, Shannon Ward, Kasey Ward, Logan Edwards, Tori Medley, and Michelle Medley; her grandchildren, Kylie Velazquez, Annistyn Ward, Daisy DeVane, Kaiba DeVane, Blake Edwards, Ryan Edwards, and Remmington Adams; her mother, Robbie Sauvie; her brothers, Ronnie Darby and Bobby Sauvie; and her sisters, Terry Johnston, Cindy Lawrence (Dennis) and Christina Land (Roy).
Lori’s kindness, laughter, and unconditional love will continue living on through the family she adored. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
