Maggie Sue Yaughn

Maggie Sue Yaughn, 84, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on November 20, 2023. She was born on December 21, 1937. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia, 31907.

Maggie was a student at Jordan High School where she graduated in 1956. She was a believer of God where she attended and sang in the choir at St. Mark Methodist Church. She loved her Diet Cokes, painting, traveling, cooking, and was an avid gardener.

Maggie was preceded in death by her husband Thurston J. Yaughn; her parents Henry C. Smith & Quindone Smith; her brothers, Milton Smith, Rickey Smith,and Durel Smith.

Maggie is survived by: her daughter, Wendy McManus; her son, Jeffrey Yaughn; her grandchildren, Adam Warren (Serrena), Julie Carpenter (Joshua), Jeff Yaughn (Michelle), Taylorann Yaughn, her great grandchildren, Emma Sederstrom, Isabela Warren, Bentley Yaughn, Tanner Yaughn, Samantha Warren, Maggie Yaughn, Remington Yaughn; and her sister, Martha Spurlin (Joey).
