Mallie Ruth Clack

Mallie Ruth Clack, 85, of Columbus, GA, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015. She was born January 30, 1930 in Forsyth County, GA to her late parents John Henry and Alice Adilene Payne. Mrs. Clack retired after 30 years from Swift Textiles, and was a member of Haw Creek Baptist Church. Her passion was her family, she loved visiting with her grandchildren, and caring for them.

The family will receive guests for visitation Saturday, June 27, 2015 from 9:00 am until 10:00 in the Mill Room of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA, followed by a 10:00 am Celebration of Life Service in the Mill Room.

Along with her parents, Mrs. Clack is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Alfred T. Clack; two sisters, Myrtle Cook, and Lottie Payne; and two brothers, Egbert Payne, and Neal Payne. She is survived by three sons, Alan Terry (Sue) Clack, Stanley Clack, and Donald Clack, all of Columbus, GA; gr
