Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, June 8, 2011 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary 4071 Macon Road Columbus, with Reverend Jimbo Albrect officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm, Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at the funeral home.
Other than her parents Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by her husband George Ward.
Survivors include her children, Garry Ewell Smith, William Andrew (Rebeccah Carol) Smith, Cathy Joyce Kirkman, Regina (Tommy) Hall, and William Lonnie Ward, three sisters, Elsie Miller, Edrie Ward and Jeanette (Jack) Carroll, seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
