Marjorie Lee Green

Graveside funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday February 18, 2010 in Parkhill Cemetery according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus. Chaplain Gene Cook and Reverend Paul Coats will officiate. The family will receive friends today from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Green was born December 30, 1923 in Dawson, GA daughter of the late John Elbert Lee and Lucille Davis Lee. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas S. Green, 3 sisters, Camilla Davis, Janie Cherry and Florence Lee. Mrs. Green was a homemaker, a member of Edgewood Presbyterian Church and was an avid league bowler.

Survivors include her son, Randy Green of Columbus, her daughter, Sandra Key of Newnan, GA, 2 granddaughters, Amanda Key of Newnan, Ga. and Lisa Green of Columbus, niece, Linda Williams of Phenix City, AL, great niece Natalie Broussard and her husband Russell of Andalusia, AL, great nephew, Roger Williams of Phenix City, AL.

In lieu of flowers, make donations to Edgewood Presbyterian Church , 3617 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907 or to the Columbus Hospice House, 7020 Moon Road Columbus, GA 31909.
