Michael E. Ludy June 24, 1952- Aufust 23, 2015 Columbus, Georgia- Michael E. Ludy, 63, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, August 23, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital. Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Edgewood Hall of Striffler – Hamby, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus with Rev. John Burnett, Dr. Kevin Calhoun, and Rev. LaRue Frederick officiating. A private burial will follow in Parkhill Cemetery with a reception to follow in the Mill Room. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Mr. Ludy was born June 24, 1952 in Ft. Benning, GA, the son of Gladys Bradshaw and the late Charles Bradshaw. He had lived in Columbus all of his life and was a member of Hilton Terrace Baptist Church. Mr. Ludy was preceded in death by his father, Charles Bradshaw; maternal grandparents, Wiley Wilson and Cordie King; uncle, Gerald Wilson; two step-brothers, Donnie and Wayne Bradshaw. Survivors include his mother, Gladys Bradshaw; brother, Jerry Ludy (Edith); one nephew, Keith Ludy (Kristi); two nieces, Julie Hedges (Cary) and Gracie Herrera (Robert); numerous great-nieces and nephew all of Columbus; two aunts, Doris Wilson of Bay Minette, AL, and Ruby Wilkenson of Chipley, FL; along with numerous cousins.
