Patricia Faye Moore

Patricia Faye Moore, 72, of Columbus, GA, passed away suddenly at her home, Wednesday, January 3, 2018. The family will welcome guests for A Celebration of Faye’s Life, Monday, January 8, 2018 at 2:00 pm in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA followed by a Committal Service at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Rd. with Reverend Billy Duncan officiating.

Faye was born in Columbus to her late parents James C and Mary Louise Moore on October 11, 1945. She attended Bibb City Elementary, Daniel Jr. High, and graduated from Jordan Vocational High School. Faye was a member of and Pianist for Oates Ave Baptist Church for many years, and later moved her membership to Beallwood Baptist Church. Faye loved playing the piano and no one could make it sing like she could. Everyone that heard her play was amazed at her talent. Faye was retired from AFLAC, and loved to spend time with her family. She will be missed by all.

Along with her parents, Faye is preceded in death by her brother Greg Moore. She is survived by: two sisters, Kathy Sue Kingrey and Anita Moore (Robert) Nisson; nieces, Nikki (Chris) Ellerbee, and Melissa (Matt) Gregory; nephews, Brian Kingrey, Jarrod Kingrey, Chris Moore, and Brett Nisson; aunts, cousins, other family members, and many friends.
