Patricia K. Reese

Emogene “Patricia” Reese, age 94, of Smiths Station, AL, died on November 18, 2018. A visitation will be held on Friday November, 23, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus. A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday at 3:00 pm at Getzen Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery, 10233 Fortson Rd. Fortson, GA.

Patricia was born on October 25, 1924, in Florence, AL; she is the daughter of William Frank King and Emogene Richardson King. Patricia married Archie “Buddy” Otis Reese Sr. on April 16, 1944 in Midland, GA. Buddy drove a school bus for Muscogee County School District and Patricia was busy being a homemaker and Mother. Patricia loved just being at home and doing things around her home.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Buddy. Survivors include; her son Archie “Butch” (Brenda) Otis Reese Jr.; granddaughters, Sonja (Billy) Davis, Rhonda (Chris) Clark; great grandchildren Rebecca, William, and Zackary Lehman.
