Paul J. O'Neal

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2022 in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, GA. with Pastor Ronald Brown officiating. Interment to follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time.

Paul was born on January 12, 1943 in Hoxie, AR. to the late Joe Edward O’Neal and Lula Brewer O’Neal. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam Era and the Korean Conflict. Paul was an Electrician by trade and a member of the IBEW Union. He was the proud owner of Joey’s Thrift Mall in Columbus, GA, and loved to build things with his hands. Paul was preceded in death a daughter, Kimberly Condon and Joey Holder, brothers, Jackie Don O’Neal and Henry Pickney and a sister, Mary Lawler.

Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years. Patricia O’Neal, a son, Paul J. O’Neal, sisters, Wanda Tinsley, Faye Jimmerson and Susanne Douglas, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
