Peter Frank Herman Whitehouse, age 70, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. He was born the son of the late Edgar Kinney Whitehouse and Annie Hoch Whitehouse on August 5, 1948 in Ulm, Germany.
Mr. Whitehouse attended grade school in Ulm, Germany, attended Baker High School in Columbus, Georgia and graduated from Columbus Tech in Columbus, Georgia. He joined the United States Army and as part of the 199th Battalion, served in Viet Nam, receiving a Purple Heart. After the serving in the U.S. Army, he worked at Fieldcrest Mills as a Loom Operator and at Action Buildings.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Norbert Whitehouse; and sister, Thea Whitehouse.
He is survived by his life partner of 22 years, Julie Glasbrenner; daughter, Holly Glasbrenner and son in law, Chad Scott; son, Shawn Wadkins and daughter in law, Jennifer Smith; grandchildren, Breelyn Scott, Olivia Wadkins and Max Wadkins; and his sister, Brigitte.
Funeral Services will be held at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 11:00 am EST, located at 553 Highway 165, Fort Mitchell, AL.
