Philip Lyn Maddox

Philip was born on February 14, 1959, in Griffin, Georgia; the son of Bernice Phillips Maddox and J.C. Maddox. He was a founding member and a member in good standing with Rose Lane Chapel. Philip married Bobbie Ingram, later divorced but remained friends through the years. He was ardent about hunting, fishing, and grilling with family and friends. He was very close to the Anthony and Stubbs families and loved the time he was able to spend with them.

Philip was preceded in death by father J.C. Maddox; mother Bernice Phillips Maddox and adopted mother Geretha Anthony.

Philip is survived by son Phillip Eugene Maddox (Sonia); his sister, Pamela Anthony; his granddaughter, Kori Maddox, Kenzie Maddox, his nieces, Stephanie Anthony, Sabrina Anthony. Philip is also survived by five great nieces & nephews and many, many, friends of the family that will cherish his memory.
