Richard Page Davis

Arrangements under the direction of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, GA. Richard Page Davis, 65, of Columbus, GA, passed away with family by his side April 15, 2014 at Midtown Medical Center. He was born to the late Norrid Stratton Davis, and his wife, the late Margaret Reick Stearns Davis, in Bristol, VA on December 6, 1948. Richard received his B. S. degree from East Tenn. State. Before retiring, he was District Sales Manager for Georgia- Pacific.

Along with his parents, Richard is also preceded by his daughter Lauren Elizabeth Davis. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Martha Collins Davis, a daughter; Martha Page (John) Baker of St. Simons Island, GA, a son; Michael Collins Davis of Columbus, GA, two grandchildren; Maxwell Ridgeway Baker, and Declan Couper Baker of St. Simons Island, GA, a brother; N.S. Davis, Jr. of Gaithersburg, VA, a sister; Anne Davis of Johnson City, TN, and uncle; Holt Wilson Page, Jr. of Houston, TX, and his beloved dog Marley.

A Graveside Celebration of Life will be Saturday, April 26, 11:00 AM. at Evergreen Cemetery, 4535 Main St. Jacksonville, FL.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donation be given in Honor of Richard Page Davis to Boy Scouts of America, Columbus Council, 1237 1st Ave Columbus, GA 31901, or Godwin Creek Golf program for under privilege children at 403 42nd St. Columbus, GA 31904.
