He was born on November 22, 1947. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and later spent many years working for the State of Georgia until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Berniece Gardner; his father, Thomas Wilbren Wyatt; his mother, Martha Bazlyn Arrowood; his stepmother, Fannie “Teeny” Wyatt; his brother, Calvin Wade Arrowood; his daughter, Jenna Leigh Wyatt, and his brother-in-law, Ritchie South.
He is survived by his siblings: Greg Wyatt (wife Renee), Nancy Ford (husband Randy), Susan South, and Thomas Ray “TR” Wyatt. Angela B. Barnes, Robert Barfield (wife Volare), Dan Arrowood (wife Lisa), Becky Gattis, Jamie McCranie (husband David), and seventeen nieces and nephews.
He is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Kylie Godbey and Jace Godbey, who held a very special place in his heart and brought him endless joy. He is also survived by his longtime companion, Susan Holman, and family.
