Sarah Martha Powell December 2, 1916 - September 21, 2010 COLUMBUS, GA— Sarah Martha Powell, 93, of Columbus passed away on September 21, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Powell was born December 2, 1916 in Henderson, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin A. Powell, Sr. her parents Bert Ollie Williams and Lillie B. Warren Williams.

Funeral services for Mrs. Powell will be 1:00PM, Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Striffler-Hamby Chapel 4071 Macon Road Columbus with Reverend Bill Mayhew officiating. Burial will follow at Riverdale Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Powell will be from9-11AM, Thursday, September 23, 2010 at the Funeral Home.

Survivors include her children; Elaine (Wallace) Storey of Macon, GA., Marvin A. (Shirley) Powell, Jr. of Cumming, GA., Maureen (Robert) Ullom of Blue Ridge, GA., Bert (Becky) Powell of Columbus, one brother; Reverend Daniel Williams of Troy, AL., grandchildren; Mark (Trish) Storey of Macon, GA., Marie (Jamie) Bryant of Macon, GA., Laura Powell Stoltz of Columbus, Stephanie (Jeremey) Holst of Henderson, NV., Katherine Ullom of Tempe, AZ. and Leslie Ann Powell of Atlanta, GA., four great-grandchildren; Bailey and Sydney Bryant of Macon, GA., Emma Hoffman of Henderson, NV. and Bennett Stoltz of Columbus.
