SFC (Ret) Morris Bradley Dyson, age 69, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Sunday March 25, 2018. SFC (Ret) Dyson was born July 3, 1948 in Lee County, South Carolina to his late parents Edna and Harry Dyson. SFC Dyson Served his country proudly in the US Army, serving in Desert Storm. He was a Drill Sergeant, and leader of men. Morris was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.
The family will welcome guests for a celebration of life visitation for SFC (Ret) Dyson Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby’s St. Elmo Room, 4071 Macon RD, Columbus, Georgia 31907. A funeral service will be In Striffler-Hamby’s Edgewood Hall Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 11:00 AM, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907. A committal with honors will follow at 1:30 PM in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, Hwy 165, Seale, Alabama, with Pastor Jang Insick officiating.
Along with his parents, Morris is preceded in death by his brother, Wade Russell Dyson. He is survived by: his wife, Myo Son Dyson; daughter, Angela Nixon; brother, Harold (Jeanette) Dyson; sister Rosalyn Everhart and sister, Diane (George) Zinser; grandchildren, Andrew Jameson, Amber Dennis and Arron Dennis; nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
