Stuart Lee Wells was born in Columbus, Georgia on September 19, 1960 to the late Glenda Sue Mills Wells and Millard Lee Wells. He was a graduate of Hardaway High School. Stuart worked for many years at J. Marvin Mills Heating and Air. He was a very devoted Dad. He was a sports fanatic, Georgia Bulldog football and Duke University Basketball being his all-time favorites. Stuart did enjoy a good NASCAR race also. But one could say his most favorite place to be when sports were being played was with his two kids at their games, whether it was coaching or on the sideline cheering them on. He was a huge supporter of Calvary Christian School Athletics. When Stuart was not spending time with his family, he was hanging out with “The Dirty Larry’s”, his best buddies. He was Christian by faith and attended Evangel Church of Columbus, Georgia where he was a member for over 20 years. Stuart will be greatly missed by all who knew and especially loved him.
He is survived by his two children: Stuart Mills-Wells and Cecilia Mills-Wells; his uncle James Marvin Mills and numerous other family members and great friends. Stuart was preceded in death by his wife Mary Catherine Wells and his sister Wende Wells Kidd.
