Funeral services are scheduled at the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, 11 a.m. with Reverend David Chapman officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, July 2, 2012 from 6-8 p.m.
Mr. Hatcher, son of the late William Larry Hatcher and Grace Marion Whitemore Hatcher, was born January 14, 1956 in Fort Rucker, AL. He was retired from Exide Batteries (formerly Chloride Batteries), where he faithfully worked for over 26 years.
Mr. Hatcher was preceded in death by three brothers, Michael, Larry, and Billy. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sherree Hatcher of Box Springs, GA; seven sisters, Linda, Donna, Nancy, Tina, Debbie, Karen, and Susan; three brothers, William, Bruce, and Warren; numerous nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
