Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2011 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA. 31907 with Reverend Jimmy Little and Reverend Jay Sorrell officiating. Interment will follow at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, AL. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Wlden was born in Coshocton, OH, on December 25, 1957 to Betty Michaels Buckmaster of Coshocton, OH, and the late Walter Wilden. He has lived in Columbus for the past 40 years and attended Lighthouse Ministries. He retired from PCI (Precision Components Incorporated) at Pratt & Whitney and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Wilden was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Wilden.
Other than his mother Mr. Wilden is survived by his wife, Stephanie A. Wilden of Columbus, two sons, David Overby of Columbus and William "Josh" Wilden of Columbus, a brother, Richard Wilden and sister, Kathy Wilden both of Coshocton, OH.
