Tommy A. Pritchett

A memorial service was held at 3:00PM on Sunday, January 11, 2026 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. The family received friends from 2:00PM - 3:00PM prior to the service. The family will have a visitation from 1:00PM - 1:45PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary on Friday, January 16. 2026 at 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA, 31907. A graveside service will be at 2:00PM at Parkhill Cemetery, located at 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, GA, 31907.

Tommy was a Lt. Col. and Green Beret in the US Army, serving as a Pilot during Vietnam. He continued flying as a hobby on his personal airstrip in Covington, GA. Tommy retired from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms. He was an avid car collector and loved his family and friends very much. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Fletcher and Iona (Williams) Pritchett; siblings, Thelma Rachels, Velma Geiger, Roy Pritchett, Doug Pritchett, Hayward Pritchett, Rex Pritchett, Harold Pritchett, and Ed Pritchett. He is survived by his daughter, Karen Lea Pritchett; granddaughter, Paige Oliva Cortiss; great-grandsons, Hudson Cortiss and Henry Cortiss; close family friend, Debra Okun; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
